Presenting The Punisher’s 12 – stringed Lyre!

The Punisher's 12-stringed LyreFrank’s other lyre has 4 strings. But this new “concert grand” lyre, which Frank now plays, has only 12 strings. Believe it or not, Frank made the lyre himself during the time he was recovering from his injuries he got when he took down a brutal prostitution ring similar to that of The Slavers. Being highly adept with carving tools, Frank created the 12-stringed lyre. He did it by carving the lyre’s frame to bear two uniquely whimsical glocks flanking The Punisher’s skull emblem shown at the bottom of the frame. The skull serve as the lyre’s soundboard while the glocks are made to hold a special neck beam at the top. The beam is adorned with a row of 12 bullets which are used as tuning string pins that hold the strings that are stretched from the skull’s soundboard. Frank uses a special set of pliers to turn the bullets to tune the strings to the right pitch that he needs to play any song he wish.  Then he will play out a medley from the lyre that helps him to relax as his wounds heal and thinks of his late family.
